The spy agency told South Korea’s government that five North Korean officials in the department were executed by anti-aircraft guns due to presenting false reports to Kim.
Meanwhile, Malaysia is investigating the poisoning of North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un’s estranged elder half-brother, Kim Jong Nam. South Korea says it believes the dictator ordered the assassination, which took place Feb. 13 at a Malaysian international airport.
