Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will headline a fundraiser for Ohio Sen. Rob Portman on Thursday in Toledo with less than a month until Election Day.

A spokesperson for Portman’s campaign confirmed to the Washington Examiner that Rice, who Portman worked with in the George W. Bush administration, will headline a fundraiser Thursday afternoon at the Inverness Country Club in Toledo. In a statement, the campaign announced that Rice will also meet with interns working on the campaign.
