Sixth suspect arrested in brawl

A sixth suspect was arrested Friday in connection with the Edgewood street brawl that left a man partially paralyzed and two women injured.

Harford sheriff?s deputies arrested Greg Nealy, 19, of the 1800 block of Brookside Drive, at about 1:30 p.m. on charges of attempted second-degree murder, conspiracy to commit second-degree murder, first-degree assault and second-degree assault, said Sgt. Christina Presberry, police spokeswoman.

The fight, Sunday evening on Eloise Lane, involved about 50 people, police said.

Gregory Simmons, 44, was beaten with baseball bats and stabbed in the back, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down, police said.

Four teenage girls and one girl?s mother who have been charged in the fight were being held without bail, and police were seeking three more suspects, Presberry said.
