A man was killed and two others were critically injured when two cars collided in a head-on crash in Loudoun County.
Virginia State Police said 36-year-old Satish Mallavaram, of Ashburn, was killed when his Toyota Yaris swerved into opposing traffic and struck a Toyota Forerunner head-on on Route 9 near Route 287. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
