Appeals court rules against raw milk producers

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A state appeals court ruled against a pair of raw milk producers Thursday, but sidestepped the issue of whether a person has a right to purchase and consume unpasteurized milk.

The 4th District Court of Appeals sided with the state Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection in the consolidated cases brought by dairy farms in Walworth and Calumet counties.
