Alison Lundergan Grimes, Kentucky’s Democratic candidate for Senate, released a new TV ad Tuesday featuring a coal miner who lost his job and is asking Sen. Mitch McConnell about his commitment to Kentucky’s job growth.

“Mr. McConnell, in the last two years, we’ve lost almost half of our coal jobs in Eastern Kentucky,” David Stanely says in the ad. “Why’d you say it’s not your job to bring jobs to Kentucky?”
