WASHINGTON (AP) — The Department of Public Works will help district residents cleaning up tree debris after the storm.

From July 1 to July 7 only, the department will remove branches that are cut into 4-foot lengths and tied into bundles no more than 2 feet in diameter from in front of residents’ homes.

Residents can also bring the debris bundles to the Fort Totten Transfer Station weekdays except July 4 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., or Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
