BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) — For the second year in a row, Carol Martin Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green has been named the best high school in America by a national news magazine.
The school was ranked fifth in 2011 and first last year in the Newsweek magazine rankings. The list of 2,000 U.S. high schools includes a total of 19 Kentucky schools.
