‘Spoiled brat’ Martin Shkreli backs Trump over Clinton

Former drug company CEO Martin Shkreli, often referred to as the “most hated man in America,” is backing Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton in the general election.

“I haven’t been called by the Trump camp. I support him vs. Hillary. He should find a VP candidate who is seasoned in politics, an ugly game,” he tweeted Thursday evening.

He added that people who do not like Trump “are jealous, stupid and poor! don’t make me laugh! and if you are employed by media you are worthless.”

Despite his support for the presumptive GOP nominee, Shrkeli said he does not agree with the Trump campaign’s slogan, arguing that economic success is already attainable.

“FWIW dont think we need to ‘make america great again’. it’s pretty amazing. a poor kid from brooklyn can grow up to be your boss (and hero).”

Shkreli, founder and former CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals, is known for raising the price of the anti-parasite drug Daraprim by over 5,000 percent. He was arrested last December on securities fraud charges and later released on bail.

Trump has professed no love for Shkreli.

Last September after Shkreli raised the price of his company’s drug from $13.50 to $750 per pill, Trump called him a “spoiled brat” and a “zero.”
