Two US Embassy workers killed in car crash in Mexico

Two U.S. Embassy workers and two Mexican agents were killed in a car crash in Mexico on Sunday, U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Ronald Johnson announced.

“We deeply regret the tragic loss of two members of staff from the United States Embassy, the Director of the Chihuahua State Investigation Agency (AEI), and one member of that agency in this accident,” he posted on X. “We recognize their dedication and tireless efforts to confront one of the greatest challenges of our time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them and their loved ones.”
