Kellyanne Conway, a former senior adviser for President Trump, has reportedly agreed to a multimillion-dollar book deal to detail her time in the White House.
Conway, who was the first woman to run a successful presidential campaign before spending more than three years at Trump’s side in the White House, will write “the most unvarnished” account of her experiences, the Daily Mail reported on Tuesday.
“Of all the White House insiders, Kellyanne is going to write the most unvarnished, eye-popping account of her time working for the president,” one source for the report said. “She’s got some of us quaking in our boots.” The source also said that she could score even more money from movie rights.
The book is expected to touch on her marriage with George Conway and the relationship with one of her children, Claudia. While Kellyanne Conway has spent years publicly and proudly defending the president, her husband has been doing the exact opposite, oftentimes garnering headlines. Claudia Conway, who recently gained fame via the social media app Tik Tok, has complained that her mother’s job was “ruining” her life and said she was going to file for emancipation.
In August, both George and Kellyanne agreed to step back from their professional lives in order to focus on working on their personal ones.
Despite Kellyanne Conway’s loyalty to Trump, she recently acknowledged that “it looks like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will prevail,” even as the president has refused to concede.
In 2005, Simon & Schuster published Conway’s first book: What Women Really Want: How American Women Are Quietly Erasing Political, Racial, Class, and Religious Lines to Change the Way We Live.
The publishing company did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
