A new ad by the Hillary Clinton campaign is full of past times Donald Trump’s has sung her praises.

The 37-second ad titled “The truth about Hillary” comes ahead of Trump’s Thursday night speech at the Republican National Convention, where he will accept the party’s nomination for president.

“Hillary Clinton, I think, is a terrific woman,” Trump says to open the ad in a clip from a 2012 Fox News interview.

“Well first of all, I know her very well, and I know her husband very well, and I like them both,” he says in the following clip.

Text quotes Trump from December 2008 as saying “Hillary is smart, tough and a very nice person.”

Again text scrolls from March 2008 of Trump saying, “I know Hillary and I think she’d make a great president.”

The ad ends with a clip of Trump walking onto the convention stage Monday night, as text reads “Donald Trump: occasionally right.”

Just days after the GOP convention concludes, the Democrats begin theirs — Monday night from Philadelphia.
