LA PAZ, Bolivia (AP) — One of Bolivia’s most important businessmen is making a third run for the presidency.

The center-right opposition alliance known as the Democratic Unity Coalition named Samuel Doria Medina as its candidate in the Oct. 12 election Tuesday night. He’s likely to face President Evo Morales, though the leftist leader has not yet announced his bid for re-election. Polls show Morales with a strong lead.
