Donald Trump is planning to try to make up for his botched vice presidential choice rollout by using the Republican convention to announce some of the people he intends name to his Cabinet, according to the Huffington Post.
Trump, according to the report, is frustrated by the lack of enthusiasm generated by the way he named Indiana Gov. Mike Pence to be his running mate. After word leaked out that it would be Pence, Trump bumped a scheduled Friday announcement to Saturday after the terrorist attack in France and then ended up meekly revealing his choice Friday via Twitter.
Chris Christie, who was passed over by Trump for vice president, is widely expected to be selected as Trump’s potential attorney general and may be among those named.
