March Social Security direct payment worth $994 goes out in seven days

The March 2026 Supplemental Security Income payments, worth up to $994, will be issued to recipients in seven days.

SSI payments are typically issued on the first day of each month, but March’s payment will go out on Feb. 27, since March 1 falls on a Sunday this year. When the first of a month falls on a weekend or holiday, SSI payments are issued on the last business day of the previous month.
