Infowars host Alex Jones should not be given a platform to say what he doesn’t even believe in, according to CNN’s Don Lemon.
“Honestly for someone like Alex Jones I’d rather not give him a platform because he’s already admitted that he doesn’t believe what he says,” Lemon said when TMZ caught up with him Tuesday.

Lemon made the comment amid the brewing fallout over NBC anchor Megyn Kelly’s interview with Jones that is scheduled to air Sunday. She and the network have received criticism for potentially normalizing Jones’s conspiracy theories, such as claiming the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting was fake.
“The Sandy Hook thing is disgusting. He’s admitted in court documents for his divorce that he doesn’t believe in what’s he’s saying, that he’s playing a character,” Lemon said. “So if he’s not who he says he is then why even do it?”
Kelly has defended her interview with Jones by stating that as a journalist it’s her job to “shine a light” on someone who “has the respect of the president of the United States and a growing audience of millions.”
