WASHINGTON (AP) — The White House says Vice President Joe Biden is preparing to travel next month to Panama and Mexico, part of an effort by the Obama administration to strengthen economic ties with Latin and Central America.
In Panama, Biden will meet with President Ricardo Martinelli and tour the Panama Canal’s expansion project, which is a priority for the U.S. as well.
