New renderings of what Anacostia’s gateway could look like have residents clamoring.

The intersection of Martin Luther King Bouleard and Good Hope Road today is drab, neglected and forgotten. The only remaining symbol of the neighborhood’s heyday is a retro “Anacostia” neon sign that now just looks like an overdressed guest to a party.
