A couple was robbed at gunpoint in their Fairfax County hotel room overnight.
Police said two masked men broke into the pair’s room at the Travelers Motel located at 5916 Richmond Highway at about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The robbers tied up the 33-year-old man and 38-year-old woman. The suspects then stole two laptops and the woman’s purse before fleeing in the couple’s 2007 Ford Expedition.
The victims were not injured.
The suspects are both described as black, in their late 20s, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and 190 to 210 pounds. Both were wearing dark clothing. One assailant had hazel eyes; the other had glasses with silver frames.
