Scout files shown at news conference

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Attorneys are showing a number of so-called Boy Scout “perversion files” at a news conference in preparation later in the day for release of 14,500 pages of documents included in the files.

At the Thursday news conference, attorney Paul Mones said the files represent “the anguish of thousands of Scouts” who were abused by Scout leaders.
