The FBI is asking for help in identifying the man who robbed a bank in downtown Washington near Mount Vernon Square.
Around 9:30 a.m. Monday, the man walked into the TD Bank at 901 Seventh Street NW and robbed it. He was last seen running east in the 600 block of I Street NW. He is considered armed and dangerous.
The suspect is described as being approximately 5 foot 6 and in his early-to-mid 30s with a medium build with a goatee and mustache. He was last seen wearing a dark blue jacket with a hood, black hat, black jeans, dark sunglasses and blue-and-white tennis shoes, possibly New Balance.
