CPAC organizers confiscated Russian flags with President Trump’s name on them that were handed out to the crowd by liberal activists before his speech Friday morning.
Photos from the Conservative Political Action Conference showed Russian flags with the word “Trump” in the middle blue stripe being waved by people in the crowd as Trump spoke. The flags were handed out before the speech as people entered the ballroom and were confiscated while Trump was on stage.
Talking Points Memo reported the flags were handed out by two liberal activists, Jason Charter and Ryan Clayton, who are with the group Americans Take Action.

Reports from CPAC indicated organizers told people with the flags that they would be kicked out of the conference if they were seen waving them during Trump’s speech.

One person who didn’t give his name to the Washington Examiner said he was part of handing the flags out and was kicked after shouting “fascist” while Trump spoke.
“We handed out some awesome Trump flags right here. Unfortunately, they were confiscated eventually and then I stood up while the president was speaking and called him a fascist,” he said. “And, was escorted out and now I’m barred from the property. Good day overall, though.”
