A coalition of 22 liberal organizations is pushing tech giants to promise not to help President-elect Trump create a registry of American Muslims if he pursues such in initiative once in office.
The possibility is one of Trump’s “most chilling proposals,” the groups, who claim to represent 35 million Americans, wrote to companies like Google, Facebook and IBM Tuesday.
