EPA: Gas station leak got into Lisle sewer system

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) — The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency is seeking enforcement action against a gas station that leaked fuel into sanitary sewers in the DuPage County village of Lisle.

The leak was reported to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency on Tuesday. It came from beneath a dispenser island at an ExxonMobil gas station that’s owned by Buchanan Energy.
