Navy SEAL charged with war crimes considers suing his investigators

A Navy SEAL is considering a civil rights lawsuit against Navy investigators after alleging that they “laid siege” to his home and marched his children out of the house during a probe into the SEAL’s actions in Iraq.

Special Operations Chief Edward Gallagher, a 19-year Navy veteran, hired lawyers Colby Vokey and Phillip Stackhouse to consider a lawsuit against Naval Criminal Investigative Service agents for entering his home in June with weapons drawn and taking his children out of the house at gunpoint.
