Trump: ‘I’m not under investigation — for what?’

President Trump disputed reports that he is under investigation for possible obstruction of justice for firing former FBI director James Comey, according to a report Wednesday.

“I don’t think we’re under investigation,” President Trump told the New York Times. “I’m not under investigation. For what? I didn’t do anything wrong.”

The Washington Post first reported that special counsel overseeing the investigation into Russia’s 2016 election, Robert Mueller, was now looking into Trump.

During the extensive interview, Trump expressed unfairness and said that Mueller’s office is riddled with conflicts of interest, warning the special counsel against diving into investigations that have nothing to do with Russian interference in the 2016 election.
