NEW YORK (AP) — New York City is preparing to end its ban on cellphones in schools.
That will fulfill a campaign promise of Mayor Bill de Blasio’s but it will signal the death knell for an industry that sprang up near dozens of schools where teens could park their phones in a van for a dollar a day.
