NORTH AMITYVILLE, N.Y. (AP) — Police on Long Island say a bicyclist was killed in a collision with a car.
Suffolk County police say the victim was struck by a Lexus traveling northbound on Route 110 in North Amityville Sunday night.
He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and was not injured.
The victim was not immediately identified.
