President Trump’s D.C. hotel brought in more than $40 million in revenue last year, according to an annual disclosure form released Thursday.
The haul for the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C., will provide fodder for Democrats who argue that Trump is potentially profiting from his office.
The hotel revenue, $40,842,294, does not reflect operating costs, meaning Trump’s income would be lower from the hotel.
Revenue was slightly higher than the preceding one-year period, when the property took in $40,408,037.
The hotel, just blocks from the White House, was formerly the venerable Old Post Office building.
