Hillary Clinton has seen a devastating drop in her lead over Republican opponent Donald Trump, according to a USA Today/Suffolk poll released on Monday, with the margin standing at less than half of where it stood two months ago.

According to the survey, Clinton now leads Trump by five points, 45.6 percent to 40.4 percent. That contrasts with this spring, when Clinton received support from 50 percent to Trump’s 39 percent.
