PASADENA, Texas (AP) — The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a sex offender who they say was selling drugs out of his home where he lived with seven children.
Authorities say the 32-year-old man had failed to register as a sex offender for the past three years and had provided a fake address. They say he was living at a Pasadena home with seven children, one of whom was his. His connection to the other children is unclear.
He was sentenced to five years in prison in 2002 for the sexual assault of a 13 year-old girl.
Authorities say he faces charges including failing to register as a sex offender and selling drugs. They say he was caught after tips made on the county’s smartphone application.
