An airplane banner flying over the state capital of West Virginia called out a Republican senator … from Nevada.
The banner that flew behind a plane above Charleston read: “Sen. Heller Keep Your Word: Vote No on Trumpcare.” The only problem is the senator to whom the message was sent, Republican Sen. Dean Heller, is from Nevada.
The message was a protest of the Senate GOP’s recent healthcare proposal by feminist group UltraViolet. The group announced earlier in the day it would be targeting West Virginia Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, a Republican, with the stunt.

In a press release, Ultraviolet announced that there would be two additional banners flying on Monday to target Heller and Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine. The organization’s co-founder said the protests were in opposition to the “Republicans’ extremist healthcare agenda.”
There were no reports on whether the other banners carried the intended messages in Nevada and Maine.
Heller is one of five Senate Republicans who have publicly withheld support of the GOP’s healthcare plan. Capito said she is still reviewing the legislation before announcing her decision on how she will vote.
