Apple announced plans on Monday to open a new company campus in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The iPhone and computer technology company said it would spend over $1 billion on its first East Coast campus, aiming to employ 3,000 people working on software engineering, hardware, and machine learning, according to a readout.
