KFC franchise paying $375K settlement with New York AG

ALBANY, N.Y. (Legal Newsline) – A KFC franchisee in New York will pay $375,000 to settle a lawsuit with the New York Attorney General’s Office for violating labor laws, Attorney General Eric Schneiderman recently said.

Divine Investors will pay restitution for the alleged violations, which included employees working after clocking out, failing to pay required overtime and not covering the cost of washing employees’ uniforms.
