Judge extends Florida voter registration deadline until Oct. 18

U.S. District Judge Mark Walker on Wednesday ordered Florida’s voter registration deadline extended by one week, until Tuesday, Oct. 18, because of Hurricane Matthew.

The deadline had already been extended one day from Tuesday to Wednesday in the battleground state following the hurricane.
