Duke’s non-tenured faculty vote to unionize

DURHAM, N.C. — Non-tenured faculty at Duke University voted 174-29 to unionize, according to a tally of ballots Friday by the National Labor Relations Board.

Those who voted yes were a majority of the 296 people eligible to vote, a spokeswoman for the labor board said.
