An assistant principal at a Virginia elementary school has been indicted on three child pornography charges.
Joshua Myers, an assistant principal at Greenville Elementary School in Fauquier County, is charged with two counts of distributing child pornography and one count of receiving child pornography.
Myers, 29, allegedly viewed and shared sexually explicit images, the indictment says. He gave his password to computer folders that contained child pornography to an undercover officer, who saw that the folders contained videos of child pornography, including a young boy being raped by a man and a woman sexually abusing a toddler, according to prosecutors.
Myers was arrested in June. Prosecutors say he indicated to authorities that he had child pornography stored on a thumb drive and his work-issued laptop.
