ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Maryland’s House of Delegates has set a date to convene for a special session on gambling.

The House of Delegates will convene on Friday, Aug. 10. That’s a day after members of the Senate are scheduled to come back to Annapolis.

House Speaker Michael E. Busch (D-Anne Arundel) notified members of the day in an email Friday.

The speaker also told members that they will debate legislation addressing a recent court decision on liability from pit bulls.
