NEW YORK (AP) — Police are looking for suspects after a knife-wielding attacker slashed three people during a dispute outside a Brooklyn catering hall.

Investigators continued gathering information Sunday into the attack early Saturday morning. It happened in the Flatbush neighborhood.

A witness told police a man pulled out a knife and started swinging after someone made a remark to him.

The blade severed an artery in a 19-year-old’s neck. Police say he’s hospitalized and expected to survive.

Two older men suffered less serious wounds. They have been treated and released from hospitals.
