Todd Ricketts expected to become RNC finance chair

Todd Ricketts, a top GOP donor and bundler who owns Major League Baseball’s Chicago Cubs, is expected to become the new finance chairman for the Republican National Committee, sources say.

Ricketts would replace casino mogul Steve Wynn, who stepped down amid charges of years of sexual harassment of his female employees as uncovered by the Wall Street Journal.

Multiple Republican sources indicated to the Washington Examiner that Ricketts has been offered and accepted the post of RNC finance chairman.
