Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican, hit back at Hollywood’s elite after celebrities mocked the Sunshine State during Sunday’s Academy Awards.

“Like NYC and DC elites, Hollywood elites love to hate Florida … except when they’re vacationing here and buying homes here!” DeSantis said in a statement shared with the Washington Examiner.
