Sen. Susan Collins criticized House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for rejecting several Republican choices to serve on the “partisan” Jan. 6 commission.

Collins, a centrist Republican from Maine, said she was “disappointed” that her efforts to have “an independent, bipartisan, nonpartisan, outside commission to look at all of the events of that day” were “not approved.”
