Corey Lewandowski: I never pursued missing Hillary Clinton emails 'on my own'

Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski denied being offered or seeking the deleted Hillary Clinton emails “on my own” while at the helm of the operation.

“Look, I never pursued them on my own. I can speak to that unequivocally,” Lewandowski told MSNBC on Wednesday. “If anybody would’ve brought that to my attention and said, ‘We think we can get Clinton’s emails,’ I would have brought that directly to the campaign counsel and said, ‘This sounds like a legal issue that I shouldn’t be involved with. You guys make a legal determination.'”
