Al Franken’s apology falls flat in Minnesota

The biggest newspaper in Minnesota says Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., has yet to be fully transparent about what he did, or didn’t do, to several women who have accused him of sexual assault.

In an editorial late Monday, the Minneapolis Star Tribune said Franken’s apology Monday in front of his Senate office fell “lamentably short in several respects.”
