House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., spoke highly of former Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price, calling him a “good man,” a “superb secretary” following his resignation Friday after his use of private planes came to light.
“Tom Price is a good man,” Ryan said in a statement. “He has spent his entire adult life fighting for others, first as a physician and then as a legislator and public servant. He was a leader in the House and a superb health secretary.”
