Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said Wednesday that Hillary Clinton shouldn’t be allowed to run because of the ongoing scandal surrounding her use of a personal email while she was secretary of State.

“You look at the email sandal, she should not be allowed to run in the election,” Trump said during a phone interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Wednesday morning. “She should suffer like other people have suffered who have done far less than she has.”
Trump’s comment was a response to Clinton’s interview with Andrea Mitchell from Tuesday in which she argued that Trump lacks of both experience and policy ideas.
Trump said he agreed with Clinton’s Democratic rival, Bernie Sanders, who said she has “poor judgement,” and said Clinton is being “protected by the Democrats.”
“You look at so many people […] than have done far less than her in the same matter, and it’s been a horror show,” he said of the absence of any punishment for Clinton. “And here she is running for president like nothing happened. She shouldn’t even be allowed to run.”
Trump’s comments come the day after a decisive win in the Indiana primary, which has all but officially made him the GOP nominee.
