MONROE, Mich. (AP) — Organizers have announced a War of 1812-themed driving tour that takes participants through parts of Michigan, Ohio and southern Ontario.

The Route 1812 Driving Tour is being launched by the MotorCities National Heritage Area and River Raisin National Battlefield Park in partnership with the Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau, Tourism Windsor-Essex-Pelee Island and the National Park Service.
