CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say a Long Island man has been arrested in Florida in connection with a 2012 homicide.
Suffolk County police say Boyd Holland, of Copiague, was arrested in Orlando on Tuesday with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and returned to long Island.
He was to be arraigned Wednesday on second-degree murder charges.
Holland is accused of gunning down Erick Brooks as he stepped out to make a phone call outside his house in Wyandanch.
