Suspected Highland Park shooter trial scheduled for February — Robert E. Crimo III, appears before Judge Victoria A. Rossetti in Lake County court Monday, Sept. 11, 2023, in Waukegan, Ill. Crimo III, who is charged in connection with a July 4, 2022, shooting that left seven people dead and dozens more wounded in the Chicago suburb of Highland Park, Illinois, was in a courtroom Monday in Waukegan, where a judge said she will set a trial date at his next hearing scheduled for Dec. 11.
