ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia (AP) — A rights group says Eritrea’s government has jailed about 10,000 dissidents for several years without charge or trial.

Amnesty International says in a new report that those in detention include suspected critics of the government, politicians, journalists, and “anyone who refuses to comply with the repressive system.”
